The South West Meccano Club have launched a subsidiary group to cater for Meccano enthusiasts who are based in the far south west and who struggle to get to our Bristol-based meetings.
The driving force behind this exciting new venture is our own David Worth. David spent time in 2014 ‘feeling the water’ and was contacted by several interested parties. The result is that an inaugural meeting was held in Paignton on Saturday 15th November at 3:00 pm.
Anybody interested should please contact David directly on

Next Meeting: Saturday 8th December  had unfortunately been CANCELLED due to ill health.

A Recent Model Report
At our last meeting a mixed box of Meccano was given to us, I’m pleased to report that Philip cleaned and straightened out and has passed it on to Ian from Honiton where it will be made up to items to decorate the local kirk for Christmas and hopefully will go on to the Honiton festival alter in 2016, as well we are hoping to display again at Exeter Model Railway Show.
It has been suggested that we run a minibus to the March 2016 meeting at Bristol if there are enough interested then we can look into costs, perhaps to help full then our partners could be dropped off at Cribbs Causeway. Please let any friends that might be interested know and encourage them to come along.
Best wishes and regards
