This year will be a judged one - so not a technical challenge - and is very simple.
Using no more than 20 individual Meccano pieces, make the best looking mouse (the rodent type, not computer!). This could be a flat representation or a 3D model - it's up to the builder to decide. An individual piece means not an assembly part number which can be broken down, e.g. a boiler (complete) part 162 is considered 3 pieces!
Nuts/bolts/washers/clips/string and any other fixings don’t count. You can use as many as you like. But spacers and collars do count as pieces.
The judge will be picked at random from a hat out of all non-participants. That person can judge the entry against any criteria they want to (ingenuity, aesthetics, use of only period pieces…. whatever).

The Challenge this year was won by Roger with his dormouse, which even used bits of Meccano Elektron for the whiskers.
There were also a fair number of other entries. The judging was done blind, as each mouse was only identified by a number and no ranking was done.
